Just remember, Frankenstein is the doctor, not the creature. So no, Frankenstein does not like to eat mice, and neither does his creature. At least not in the book.

No. Frankenstein is the doctor. Doctors do not eat mice, typically....
The monster does not eat mice either, even though I bet many monsters do eat mice...typically...

Sure. Why not? Being locked up so much, it's not like he could go out and raid the fridge. He just had to snack on whatever he could find. Mice, roaches, spiders, all just hors d' oeuvres to him. You just never knew when Igor was going to show up with room service.
