Ok. People who say "Mexicans need to go back to their country, and get out of MY country". I recently heard a caucasian person say that and It pissed me off. Caucasians weren't the first ones here. Native Americans were. AND México once had the land united states had BEFORE the U.S. had it. Everyone in this country are either immigrants or come from a family that were immigrants at one point in their lives. No one should be downing no one and no one should be racist towards other races. Another thing that pisses me off is when people say "IF mexicans dont like AMERICA or AMERICANS so much then go back to your country". If you ever say that your ******* stupid. When you say AMERICA you are talking about NORTH and SOUTH america. Which includes México. So why would Mexicans hate on their own people since they are Mexican-American. Wow. EVERYONE is either an immigrant (yes including all races) or have family members who are/were immigrants. Hating on immigrants is hating on a lot of ppl.

I don't like illegal immigration. However, I do believe that it should be easier to immigrate legally, because, like you said, we are a nation of immigrants.

Why are people so uneducated? Well, this country spend billions on unneccessary crap and our schools don't get the funds they deserve. I'm a product of the public school system, but I've been very lucky to attend magnet schools and a very prestigious high school. Have you checked the cost of a college education recently? My upper-middle class family can't even afford the entire cost. College is expensive and not everyone can afford to go. I wish we all could. We'd all be better off.

I think it's hard to find the line between being uneducated and being xenophobic/racist. People overlook the fact that we have immigrants from all over, and illegal immigrants come from all over. The media and society likes to focus on Mexicans even though they don't always identify a Mexican or they mislabel other people as Mexican all the time. It's an excuse to vent their racist hate; I know plenty of people who are concerned about Mexican immigrants, but then they bothered to learn about the situation on their own. They are open-minded to begin with and did not hate. The rest refuse to read, refuse to be educated. That tells me hate is their priority and not truth.

They get it from their racist parents. I find that most people who did not attend college or a university are uneducated about other races and never learned how to see them as people instead of a color or race. My great grandmother came over on a boat from Naples, Italy. On my other side of the family My great great grandfather came from Germany and my great great grandmother came from Gratz Austria (just like arnold schwarzenegger) We are all related to immigrants unless we are 100% native american. But I do wish people would stop coming here illegally. Someone should help them with the process.

It is a generalization about the flood of immigrates from south of the US that want to show more patriotism for their homeland but reap the benefits of being here. Look at the numbers of them using our health care system driving it to the breaking point. It is up the them to coming here to change the profile. You think it is a good thing that someone at work here on a work visa does not have the same 30% of thier checks come out for taxes? Then they use the local health dept and other government services? This is where the dislike comes from not ignorance. I may not know that piece of history well but I probly know othr you do not.

I agree with 100% of what you have said. Mayans, Aztecs, and North American Indians lived here long before any of my Irish and Austrian descendants came here. We all need to respect one another more and not be so ethnocentric. And yes, it is the United States OF America. Mexico and Canada are also in America as well, as are Central and South America.

Oh please, if you were really educated, you would know that no tribe from Mexico owned much land in America anyway. The Indians who are supposed to be here by birth are the ones with reservations dedicated to them and the ones we have contracts with. Any pro-"Aztlan" pretender from Mexico should have to deal with any immigration law our country decides to impose if they want entrance.

And if you think about it, Caucasians were the one who brough the ideas necessary for the USA to become an actual, stable, working country. It was just open land with nomads before.

I fully expect many thumbs-down, so don't think it effects me. Your type tends to be pretty intolerant of any opposing opinion, anyway, though you pretend to be so open-minded.

I got no problem with legal immigrants, I refuse to coddle illeagle aliens for various reasons. To make the statement he made, he may have been referring to illeagle aliens and instead showed some racial negativity, but he may have been a retard racist as well.
