Aside from that, you'll find very friendly people, affordable cost of living, good job market, etc. Avoid North Jacksonville, lots of crime up there. Mandarin, Bay Meadows, Southside are all good parts of the city.

Not much nightlife here, not compared to Los Angeles or Boston, if you're looking for that...but it's good for families.
