Absolutely! Some of the best books I have read, have been old and tattered, sometimes the binding is deteriorating..but the pages, the mystery,the excitement are still the highest quality.

Everybody does. Why do you think they come up with such lurid cover graphics? It sells books.
But I like to look under the cover. Just a peek, to see what I might be in for.

Yah, sometimes and it's only human to do that I think. but we really shouldn't do that cuz you never can tell. Ted Bundy==cute prep==serial killer. Bill Gates==really nerdy==richest dude in the world. Etc.

No. It might look like a horror novel, but after a few pages, it can turn out to be a romantic classic.
