Its the area of base * height * 1/3.
And of course you know area of base is
length*width.

(If you only mean that the base is rectangular)

it must be "triangular pyramid with a base of a triangle"
that is, a prism or pyramid but not both?

search google for a volume formula
or look at your book for the volume formula.
