The Q6600 is the best.

New games (Crysis, Alan Wake, etc) will take full advantage of the four cores.

For extreme! gaming you'll want an 8800gts 320mb at the MINIMUM. An 8800gtx 768mb is prefered.

Lastly, please don't tell me you're buying from CyberPC / Dell / etc. as they're complete rip-offs.

Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q6600 (2.4GHz) is the best of those 3. Though, the E6850 (3.0GHz) would be a good one to consider as well, because it won't put out nearly as much heat as a quad core will. :)
