I well know that there are quite a few stations that offer their programs as streaming media via the Internet? But is there a device that, when connected to a PC,can enable MW,SW, and FM radio reception? I would like to know the exact specifications, including the device name, manufacturer, model/version, vendor in Pakistan, and the price in Pakistani market.

The guy's in Pakistan, folks he can't just go to his local computer store.

I would suggest Radio Shack. I looked at a couple of very inexpensive sets that would probably give you what you want. You can order online, hopefully they'll be willing to ship you your country.

I didn't see any that would go into your computer like a card, but the may exist with further searching. Both of the following are stand-alone sets at US$39 plus shipping
:
Dynamo Emergency Crank Radio with AM/FM/SW/TV/NOAA Bands
This set cranks to generate it's power and does not require electricity (though it also has a power adaptor).

Compact Portable AM/FM/Shortwave Radio
Model: 20-125 | Catalog #: 20-125

Good luck, my friend.

I've never heard of a device that plugs into a computer, but getting a decent radio can't be too difficult, and could easily be plugged into your soundcard's audio-in ports, if that's what you're after.
