they have this idea of what a perfect man should be, and if he does not live up to this then she starts complaining

Honestly I think it has alot to do with compatibility and respect .If you are with the right woman for you things are not always like that. I know in my relationship how far to go without pushing. I have found that I get much further if I don't complain and expect to much. I ask him and I am kind about it and I get more out of him then I ever ask for. I also try to work along side of him when possible. I always thank him even when he takes me out for dinner. He knows I appreciate him and he knows that I am not the type of person to take him forgranted or take advantage of him for my own benefit. I try to do the most I can by myself and consider how his day went at work before I make big demands on him. I have become this way out of learning him and understanding that for one good deed helping him out in someway that he wants to give double of himself. I really believe it all has to do with how you approach someone and say things. It took awhile to discover that in a 14 year marriage but I learned when you complain about to much it gets you no where. It's the old saying and it's true ....you get what you give.

Maybe, women should be more understanding and know that men just aren't capable of living up to any expectations...is that right? What is it about men that makes them not want to be the best they can be for their women, see planty of men complain about their wives getting fat or letting themselves go....how is it different?

yes they expect WAY TOO MUCH from us! Most of them do not understand that we were created the way we are, and they can't change us no matter how much they try. And they also need to understand that even if a guy wanted to change, he can only do it to a certain level, and they just have to live with that.

The same question I keep on asking why women don't get satisfied? They want this, they want that, ooh that so beautifull. Can you buy one for me, Ooh look at that, this, that, etc. When it comes to love making likewise its the same, semo! semo! semo! semo!.
