After the game. The movie isn't made yet and the games have been out for a long time.

Yes, Its in development at the moment there still trying to get enough backing to support the colossal bill they are going to rack up while they are filming it. thats the last i herd. It will probably be out after the trilogy of games is over.

As far as I know, the film has been canned by Microsoft.
It was to be produced by Peter Jackson and directed by by Neil(Nick?) Bloomfield. It was well on it's way into production before it was stopped due to budget concerns. You can still see the short Bloomfield made on YouTube.
