What do you think? Faux pas, or height of sophistication? What other body "fashions" make you cringe?

They do this because even when they're uninterested, everyone thinks they are very interested in the topic of conversation. Either that or they want to look very surprised at all times.
Other body fashions? Too many piercings or facial tattoos. Five piercings are fine. Ten is questionable. Twenty rings in your ear, two on your nose, two through your lip, and who knows where else you have them is just too much. Facial tattoos...umm...everyone is pretty enough to not need them. Ever.
Although I would like to see someone actually tattoo a life-sized version of themself on themself. That would just make my day.

i think its alternative fashion. Very much like corsets (real ones mind you), body modification, even experimental music. While some have been around long enough to garner acceptance in common culture, other forms of practice still pushes the boundary for what is deemed as fashionable.
Think of the feetbinding practice in ancient China. It boggles our minds wondering how could anyone adore such deformity. But it was a matter of mindset as is this shaving and repainting of eyebrows. What you may see as folly, they see as beauty.
Is it that extravagance can only be flaunted on the runway and not on the walkway?
If its any body fashion that makes me cringe, it would be those according to herd mentality. Like tragus piercing over here lately. i bet they dont even know what its called -_-

Don't know! my Mother does that and it is just ridiculous, You can tell it has been done.
CRINGE! Our neighbor down the road, a pretty good friend, actually... shaves her lip everyday instead of waxing it. EWwwww......!

I think the eyebrow thing is to make them look surprised or alert! Other fashions that make me cringe...? hmmm...

I think that looks horrible!!! Another one that was bad was the super dark lip liner with light lipstick...hated it!

how abt.//the great big gignormous puff...hair=p i hate it..makes you look like an alien with an extra long head... with nothing inside it!!!

Well they think its pretty. without trying to hurt anyones feelings, EVERYONE I have ever talked to about those thinks there horrible.

good question, seems kind of pointless to me... but a woman who does this is a woman that i stay away from.... thats a fact... but to each their own...
