The Strongest Captains in Bleach.?

Question

Im Curious in ur opinon who are the strongest captains in bleach.

Can you label them 1-12?

I think theres 12 squads....Idk im new.

Yup, it's Gotei 13, not twelve. I don't think there is enough information on each of the captains to actually rank them all. I would have to guess old man Yamamoto being the number one. He is sitting at the top as 1st squad captain + he was winning against both Kyoraku and Ukitake. Byakuya is portrayed as being real strong, but that was from the perspective of Renji, a vice-captain, and the weaker Ichigo. Aizen as the number one bad guy is bound to be strong, probably Gin as well as his sidekick, although we haven't seen him much in action. Zaraki did kick Tousen's *** though, and I think he has insane potential if he learns to work it with his zanpakuto. Another one with potential is the 'baby genius' Hitsugaya.

As for who's the strongest in order who knows considering we don't know what half of them do yet. If I had to pick one right now I'd say Yamamoto, since he was able to take on two captains (Shunsui Kyōraku and Ukitake Jyuushiro) at the same time and survive without a scratch.

And yes, I realize that Sōsuke Aize may be stronger than he is but he's not a captain anymore so he doesn't count.

There are 13 squads and this questions is a bit broad and to be honest you don't need to have this question answered if u just watch the series you can figure it out for your self as for my ill give you my top 5 are: Squad 5: Sōsuke Aizen, Squad 1: Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai, Squad 10: Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Squad 6: Byakuya Kuchiki. There in no particular order because in my opinion there abilities are so different its hard to say who is the strongest without giving out spoilers.

I think Yamamoto is the strongest captain of all, he is an old man with a long beard. There are many scars on his torso and head, suggesting numerous battles in his past. He wears the standard shinigami captain uniform, but its size is greatly exaggerated. He also drapes his haori over his back instead of actually wearing it. Despite his old age, he has a very muscular body.

As the general of Gotei 13, Yamamoto is highly respected by many shinigami, most notably Sajin Komamura, who views Yamamoto as a benefactor who saved his life. Like fellow captains Byakuya Kuchiki and Soifon, he believes that orders must be executed without question and despises those who break the rules.

His abilities as a shinigami are no doubt powerful, as he was able to bring 8th Division Lieutenant Nanao Ise to her knees and immobilize her by looking at her and releasing his spiritual pressure. He was also able to fight on par with two of the most powerful captains, Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake, for a decent period of time without any sign of injury, while they both came away with minor wounds.
