the name of rama's bow is the kodanda... supposedly a heritage of Vishnu's bow... since rama is considered a reincarnation of vishnu... the bow was used in countless epic battles...

The name of Rama's bow and that of Lord Vishnu and each of his incarnations is Shaaranga. I know 'cause I've been named after it.

The name of Rama's bow is not known to me but I know that it was given to him by Parasurama on the condition that he (Rama ) proved his strength by stringing it.
