NO. They're for different species for a reason!

If you have purchased a flea product from a pet shop, it's likely to harm the animal if you use it on the wrong species. If the flea product is from a vets, the worse that will happen is that it just won't work on the dog - there won't be a high enough dose.

Just go to a vets for some proper stuff, stay away from pet shop rubbish. And only use as directed!!

Buy a flea shampoo specifically for dogs. You can also get a topical treatment like frontline, revolution etc. But dont try treating the dog with everything at once - too many flea treatments can be toxic to your dog.

NEVER use a different species' flea treatment to another species. You could harm and/or kill your dog by administering cat flea medication.

Don't do it...what difference will it make if you wait a day to get him his real stuff? You can always bring your dog to Petco or Petsmart and give them a flea and tick bath.
