I have a friend who is 13 weeks pregnant. If she has a girl she will call her Sage (which I like) and if she has a boy she will call him Floyd. I really hate this name. What is your opinion?

I don't love it, but atleast it isn't Jesus.
It is her child, and I'm sorry, no matter what you say, you will not be naming him......

When you said Sage I thought that'd be the boy's name... It's not just seasoning, it's also used in reference to wise people (often for old men). Better off with Rosemary lol
As for Floyd... yeah not that great a name.

Sage is cute but Floyd? Bleh! Reminds me of Pink Floyd or flouride thats in toothpaste. Tell her to reconsider!!!

Floyd... terrible name. You need to speak up. The name could effect the boys whole life. Kids could make fun of him.
Anything besides Floyd. It reminds me of an alien.

Love the name SAGE....the name Floyd COULD be okay if it was put with an interesting middle name....maybe.

I really dislike both names actually. I think Sage is better suited for a boy and Floyd just reminds me of dumb and dumber. Maybe (ok, hopefully, LOL) she will change her mind.

I actually like Floyd.... It's better than Matthew or Andrew or Jake....... If someone calls his name, at least he'll know it's him that's being spoken to, not like calling Matt and 15 people turn around....

ok to sum it up fast i read Sage did the head bob of ok saw Floyd and cringed UCK. god if that isnt a name to get a little boy beaten up for then maybe Percival would be better. Gag
