I was answering one of Fez's questions about how Moroccan's tend to think people with round faces look older and those with longer, thinner faces look younger. My sis thinks it's the opposite, but it got me to thinking that my fiance is 30 and he has a long, thin face and only looks about 18. Is this a common trait?

Sorry Fez, after reading it again it is confusing. My sister thinks that people with round faces look younger.

I've edited this. Don't worry about it...I confuse myself too lol. So she is the typical American! :D

My husband has a thin face and looks young (although the US is aging him lol -he has the long white hair that keeps growing in shhh! don't tell!) but I have seen TONS of 'thin-faced' Moroccans look quite old. :P I'm serious, I mean WAY old. And I've lived among Moroccans before so this is my observation. Plus, I have a story to tell you about my in-laws as an example...I don't want to post it here because if they saw it they would not be happy! :) I think you will find it funny...I emailed it to a couple of other ppl who found it humorous.......

One of my brother in laws here in the US (with a round face) looks young but I found out he dyes his hair all the time too or he would be all grey at 35 hahahahahahaa.

One of my husbands brothers in Morocco that is younger than him has a really round face and he was asking me if I thought he looked older or not. He says everyone thinks he is way older but he is like the same age as me--I thought he was crazy.

Personally, I think thin faces age more quickly as there tends to not be as much skin to hide the wrinkles.

My question was more about perspective. Show your fiance a bunch of photos of people and ask him how old he thinks they are. Usually this will show what I mean. It's not just my in-laws with whom I have observed this.

I think maybe you misunderstood my question. To finally answer yours: NO, I don't think it is a trait of Moroccan men to look younger than they are. You and I are just lucky then LOL.
