A lot of things but the thing I recall is driving home from the army. I was steering the car with my knees and rolling a, uh, um, smoke and just when I was ready to lick the paper I looked to my left and there was a state trooper in my blind spot looking right at me. Having short hair at the time (thanks uncle sam) I looked like no threat at all and he went by with a wave. Thank God. Heck of a way to start a civilian life in jail.

Being nine. It was the first year I was put into a special class for gifted kids. I also remember being a big "Star Trek" fan (still am), and I loved '70s disaster movies like "The Poseidon Adventure," "Earthquake," and "The Towering Inferno."

I was in my senior year in high school and working 1/2 day in a machine shop , the rest of the time I spent partying with friends .

i was graduating from high school and having the time of my life. oh how i long for the 70s if i could be 21 again today or live the life i lived i would stay where i,m at and relive the 60s and 70s memories forever.
