He doesn't wear purple lipstick. He recently stopped smoking and smoking depletes vitamins and nutrients in your system and it singes your lips, thus the discoloration of Obama's lips.

It's not lipstick or discoloration and it's not even purple. He's black. Black people usually have brown lips.
