I'm ignoring that second question because it's not appropriate here.
Heterosexuals try to enforce their sexuality on others usually when they are afriad of something, such as homosexuality, when they feel they are not firm in their own beliefs. Fear is the biggest motivation for trying to force someone to believe the same thing they do.

The sad reality are that numerous heterosexuals presume their lifestyles explicitly correct, acceptable, else obedient to some doctrine. Many people are not taught about diversity, or are given derogatory information. But I will reveal that research over many years suggest that a large percentage of so-called heterosexual men and women possess hidden bisexual fantasy and/or desire. Less act upon the same, else are less apt to reveal the same due sheer potential loss of lover, mutual respect from less educated, etc. I do not personally advocate any specific sexuality, except that wherefore one feel most comfortable. Yet, religion too sometimes plays an important role in this matter, for some organizations teach respect, and others denounce variation, and far too great of membership are in search of answers or acceptance from someone else.

Are you being compelled to be a lesbian? Who is pulling your strings? If someone thinks you are good looking, and they want to have heterosexual relations with you, you could take it as a compliment.
Also, consider the perspective of the average male hetero: Just because you call yourself a lesbian, does not necessarily mean you've ruled men out completely (nothing is set in stone anymore). After all, you chose to call yourself a lesbian at some point...perhaps, for the right guy - you'd choose to not call yourself a lesbian for an hour or so?
Nothing causes heterosexuality - it is the default mode of nature. Call it instinct if you want to be animalistic. Most have it - some don't.
One thing's for certain - you can't procreate naturally without hetero intercourse.

I think it's human nature to not like things that are considered different. Maybe it's a survival mechanism left over from our earliest ancestors. School kids for example are always trying to fit in and be accepted. It seems like a natural instinct to want to conform.

not sure what you mean. Ive always been grateful to gay men. Especially the super good looking ones. Less competition.
But hot lesbians, thats another story. Turn them and you're living a dream.

Maybe because they have nothing better to do with their time other than telling people how to live their lives.
I'm pretty sure your second question comes with sarcasm, due to all those who ask what caused us to become homosexuals...lol It sounds just as ridiculous the other way around. fun question.

Why do you paint us all with the same brush?
I bet you hate stereotypes about homosexuals, so why do you stereotype about others?
I'm not one of those silly beans who think they can change other people's sexuality or think that it's all a choice.
