To a degree yes, I think that initially we do judge people by their voices, particularly on the phone. Usually you have to listen to what the person is saying though to get some further information about them.
Being well spoken is an integral part of my job but as most people do, I change the way I communicate to suit a situation and the person(s) I am with.

I believe that I can be well spoken. I don't choose to be all the time though. I have no issue with either the well spoken or the not so well spoken. I am sure if I was around someone that was extremely one way or the other I would take notice, but other than that I would have no reason to think anything.

Yes, I do speak well.

When a person doesn't speak well, there can be many resons why. For instance, a person with a learning disability, or speech problem I can relate to, and I will listen to them carefully so that I can fully understand them to the best of my ability. I certainly appreciate their effort in communication, and their desire to express themselves through words. However, when a person was schooled without a disability, and they make the choice to use incorrect grammar, like slang, gang jive, or slur their words on purpose, I look as those people as ignorant and stupid.

When I listen to a person who is a great speaker, I appreciate their spoken word when that person demonstrates that they can speak to anyone, regardless of how important they are. Such as speaking to the President down to a person who cannot communicate very well because of a speech impetiment. A good speaker will go the extra mile to ensure that he or she can make everyone understand what he or she is saying no matter what. However, I do have a friend who is addicted to 'words'. He often uses big words, to make himself look important, as if he is a better speaker than someone else because his vocabulary is more expanded. However, it is often perceived as him being arrogant, and self-centered.

That is my opinion.

Yes, I consider myself to be very well spoken. I have also been told this on more than one occasion.
My parents always stressed the importance of being articulate and having a large vocabulary. It really does make a difference when you're out in the world. Unfortunately, the world will not view you as being as intelligent if you are not.
It's just a fact. Not that I personally think that this is always true, but it is the general perception.

I am loquacious and very well spoken and have an extensive vocabulary that I am well known for among those who know me well. I like that about myself and I equally appreciate this quality and characteristic in others. I don't judge people who may not be as eloquent as I am. I personally pursued a command over the language I speak. But I realize that It's just not a priority for everyone.

sometimes i is the best well good spoken person in the world. um... like, you know with the..... like, articulate, thing uh err thingie ...... like, i think. rofl.

*sighs* i suppose so, it depends on my day i guess. or on how many beans i have for brains that day.

I've noticed, if you don't speak well people assume that you're an idiot, i've learned that. I've seen very smart people passed over for jobs because they couldn't articulate properly what it was they wanted to say; and were assumed to be unintelligent. As for others and the way that they talk, i don't think on it really, and i try not judge, but i will admit, someone who is well spoken is impressive.

I try to be understandable. So I think that is well spoken.

People who are not well spoken are interesting, because they just have a different way to express themselves.

Some people that are well spoken are intelligent and I can usually learn something from them.

I am and I do judge people.
It's naughty, really.
I like people to be grammatically correct and I hate people who abbreviate or mumble.
It's funny because I'll adjust the way I talk depending who I'm speaking to and how they're speaking.

i am
i'm from glasgow but never took on the glasgow drawl as a child, my parents corrected me, then i went to work in london and had to slow my speech down to be understood, i'm back here now and although i have a scottish accent i do not sound like a local, and neither do my children, i dont think you have to be well spoken but what you say is important, some people, throw in so many expletives, it wouldnt matter how well spoken they are, you just do not take them seriously no matter how well heeled their accent is
