There are many things that can play to your sleeplessness.
One, you may need to be more active during the day to make your body hungry for some sleep.
second, A simple sleeping pill may help get you to sleep so you can get some rest but contact a physician before going this route.
third, You may just have a medical condition that is not allowing you to get the sleep you need. ex.. sleep apnea.
good luck!!!

i cant sleep either
what i do-
get really warm
relax my whole body
close my eyes
think about happy things
when that doesnt work-
turn on a movie with very very low volume
and try and watch it from bed
but dont put any extra pillows under your head
and then just fall asleep with it playing
and if that doesnt work-
talk to other Y!A people and just dont sleep haah
but if you actually want to sleep and you have no choice-
(most people on this site will kill me for saying this, but it really wont do anything bad unless you overdose)
take half a drowsy cold medicine pill, youll be asleep in 5 minutes haha, when they say drowsy they reeally mean it
good luck

Keep playing on Answers for awhile. Turn off the lights. Sometimes typing in the dark makes me tired. Or try reading in bed. If you have Sunflower Seeds in the house, sometimes that or bread helps you sleep.

If you can't sleep you will turn off all the lights and thinking that you are counting sheeps. I tried that one when I Can't Sleep

POOR SOME SUGAR ON MAAAY!
I don't lay in bed more than 15 min.
After 10 min, I start thinking about what I want to do when I get back up.
My mind tips me off before I start to fall asleep w/ a brief haziness. If I don't feel that, I get back up and turn the screens back on.
Reading is a good way to induce drowsiness for me.
Be careful about staying up too long. You don't want to be awakened by your head hitting the floor because you "fell" asleep.

Grab a shovel, go into bed, hit yourself over the head with the shovel. Repeat the last step until you find yourself asleep.
But seriously, NyQuil or Benadryl if you want a medicated solution. Otherwise just eat a piece of turkey, drink a glass of warm milk, and read a book until you're sleepy.

Focus on relaxing. Many times it is caused by tension...don't let that interfere with the rest you need.
