Nowadays, with the show 'Dancing with the Stars', more people seem to be interested in learning.

I think ballroom dancing is great.

I learned ballroom dancing as a teenager. I'm now a Senior Citizen and still do it.

I have seen ballroom dancing become extremely popular a number of times through the years. It's one of those things that's so good that it just keeps resurfacing. It's a great thing for exercise, too.

It's wonderful that ballroom, rumba, tango etc have become popular again, Dancing with the Stars is certainly nothing but show and are not a good example of the actual dance you and I would do. There are dance clubs all over the Easter/Southern part of the United States. MY passion is the Carolina Shag it's fun it pop's the music is great. And with you I would could dance right off the end of the map, you look "Mavalous Dahling"! Here's a star for YOU.

I think it's wonderful, I learned how to do ballroom dancing from my father. The show "dancing with the Stars, I think, do not show the true enjoyment of dancing because they are too concerned with performing the right technique to really appreciate the joy of ballroom dancing.

I don't care for "Dancing With the Stars" because it's pure exhibitionism. It just looks to me like they are doing the "horizontal mambo" standing up. Though I do enjoy watching the waltz and the tango, ballroom dancing has never been a favorite. In the past I have done alot of folk dancing, which brought me a great deal of pleasure. Folk dancing helped me to feel connected, and to be a part of a greater whole. For that I am grateful.

I met my wife at a ballroom dance. I used to go at least 3 times a week, Sats Sundays and weds. Was the only place u could get a good cheap cuddle. Wow and if u were still together for the last waltz, that was certainly 'a goer'

I think your Dancing with the Stars is the US version of UK's Come Dancing. It's very popular, enjoyable to watch, and to listen to the music. Fun and friendly (most of the time). It goes to prove there are a lot of people wanting an alternative to aggression and violence.

If it also encourages people of all ages and abilities to get up and dance together that can only be a good thing. Good exercise, good music, good company, and I say long may it continue.

Been a ballroom dancer since 1989, think that interest in younger folks is great. Unversities have comp teams, seems the studios are packed. Nice to see partnership dance back.

I think it's great. One of the reasons is because of the dances themselves. Another, the music. And yet another are the clothes. It's so nice to see everyone in formal wear. I am a casual dress person but occasionally it is nice to see the elegance of a formal dance evening. It was missing for awhile. The dance studios are becoming more popular now, too. Always nice to see.

I have loved it ever since Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I would love to dance like anyone from "Dancing with the Stars".

Imagine the shape I could be in.

First, I would first need my husband to want to take lessons with me... dead end for ballroom dancing for this old broad!
