hello... in the computer, you can open the file with 'cookies' and check out the names. cookies will have names of each websites. also, check the history file, which will also show websites that was visited. Or.. connect another computer online with a webcam unknown to the kid, this way you can also see what he is doing in the house alone, 'live'.

There are so many programs that he can buy and install onto the computer. One that I can think of right of the top of my head is called keylogger. Even if the kid erases the history...this program will recall every keystroke entered in. These programs can be a little pricey but worth it if you think your child might be in danger with addictions or strangers. Go into any store that sells computer software....the clerks will help find the appropriate program to use.. Although, if the kid is close to being an adult I would use caution when "checking" up on him.
Best of luck to you !

My fav www.spectorsoft.com this will run completely in stealth mode if you install it in stealth mode, no one will know it is there. You can get text log of all keystrokes, url's visited, jpeg screen shots of the desktop as often as you set it, (keep my son's set to 4 minutes). If you travel, & want logs while you are away from home, you can set the option to send you logs per e-mail attachment also. They are sent through spectorsoft website & no one ever knows they are sent. I have not used this with Vista, but with 98, ME & XP it worked great & i am sure they have updated it by now as they are usually fast. Make sure you remember the hot keys when you install it, if you do not read & remember them, you will never access it again to open it up.
