I would ask her who she was talking about of course.
But my ex before I married (true story) used to sleepwalk and one Christmas eve she woke up 'naked' and went out of the front door and knocked onthe door of the apartment of the guy accross the hallway. and asked if he knew where I was.
He must have thought Christmas had come early but he told her to turn around and go back (nice guy).
He only told me about it a few months later just when I was moving out.lol

Wake him up, as he's having a nightmare. Then ask him does he want to get up and make some coffee and talk about it. If he just says, "No, I'm OK," then roll over and go back to sleep.

Well, if she's screaming, I'd assume it is a bad dream, so I'd wake her up. Then I'd ask her about her bad dream, or try to make her feel better if she was still scared by the dream.

well ,our dog jumped up on the bed and steped on her hand
and she woke up and said the dogs name.his name is
phred (yes thats how we spell his mane ,i know it a funny way
to spell it).

You know that is a very excellent question. I would wake her up and ask her WTF, who the hell is this, what ever happens after that, happens, but I will not bring harm to her.
