stripping?

How muh does a stripper make? My friend is a stripper at this really nice stripping club - but i think it would be none of my busniess to ask how much she makes a night, how much can they make up to a night, if they have a really nice body and such? I might decide to be one for a few years, to pay for college... And how old do you have to be? (I'm 19). And my friend has lots of money, that I can tell of.

There are good and bad things to say about being a stripper - as a male who's never been to a strip club (who's fainted) - I can see the attraction of what might appear to be relatively easy money. You have (i'm sure) a nice body and you want to show it off. That is your choice alone.

Chat to your friend about the pros and cons of being a stripper and ask for advice on where to start out. Some of the larger, more expensive (better paid) places might only take experienced dancers - you might not get such high pay when you start out. Also bear in mind the fact that an illegal element may be involved - but, if you can chat with your friend, she'll be in a better position to inform you about that than I am.

If the stripping route doesn't pan out as planned, consider taking a part-time job somewhere else - at a fast food company, for example. Remember your resumé - employers like to see that a potential employee has gained the right kind of workplace experience . Lots of students have done this in the past and you might appreciate the flexibility (especially around exam times) and that it is not only satisfactory but you get tips too.

send some pics okay? ; ). ( I'm totally kidding) you should probably find a different job. I mean money yeah money is cool, but you can always getting from a more descent job. I mean I don't know and if you really like to show off your body then go ahead I probably won't mind much but I think you should still maybe work at cashwise and get some moral values out of it


No idea how much they get (maybe 800-900 a week?)

7 = minimum wage
times 8 (full shift) = 56
times 5 days a week = 280
plus about 100-200 tips a day = 780 to 1280 a week

Note: don't know if tips is accurate and if they pay strippers hourly

You know what else makes a lot of money for someone your age? Working at the post office. I'm dead serious, not trying to be funny, you will make a minimum of $11 an hour. I am a postal employee myself, and I was tired of jobs only paying me about $8 an hour. This way you wont have to sell your body and have a past to be ashamed of. Of course, the post office isn't the only option, there are many other jobs out there. Don't sell yourself so cheaply, its not worth it, plus, strippers generally don't make that much money anyway contrary to popular belief, and the belittling you will receive and the damage to your ego wont be worth all the money in the world.

There was a time that I was an exotic dancer, and I made a lot of money many years back. I could make anywhere from 80 to 125 dollars a night dancing for a mere three hours. These days that amount has just about tripled for what a dancer can make at a club per night, particularly a nice club. It also depends on how the dancer carries herself. If she is classy and friendly, but not scanky, she can make quite a bit.

Sweetie! Pleasee pleaseee pleasee don't be a stripper! If some ppl from your college sees you at a stripping club they'll probably tell their friends and they'd think of you the wrong way.

Plus STRIPPING?!? Why would you even want to do that? You know what kinda guys are at the strip club? Ya PERVERTS! And I think its creepy and scary!

Also think about it. When ppl describe what ppl are wearing or what they look like they're like you look like a beauty. or you look like a stripper! okay. so sweetie. Please just don't strip. I think you should try working at a department store.

My guess is that they make anywhere from $300 - $1000 a night. I don't suggest you take up this job - it is a dangerous and indecent way to make a living. I'm not trying to offend you, but this kind of job is not a decent one, and it is dangerous. Think about it carefully, examine the pros and cons. Think about how this may affect your future, and how this might affect your family or future family. Try harder to find a more clean and safe job, and I hope that you can do this.

I have a friend who just turned eighteen and she strips. she makes a decent amount i guess, i don't think the job would make the best but they make the nice tax free tips!

Don't do it. Work at a job that you do not have to degrade yourself at. They probably do make a lot of money, but is it really worth it? No, I'm not judging, I'm just trying to give a opinion
