I believe your talking about Meadows Village a.k.a. "Naked City", yes, it's old and run down, I happen to live in that area, with crime and drugs, it'll never go away no matter what they do, it got that nick name because there use to be show girls who went skinny dipping and it use to be clean until drugs and gangs came in and took over. It's not as bad as it use to be so if you are to come in this area, just be careful and make sure you are with someone and it's not night time.

Behind the stratosphere is the drug area. This area north to Fremont street is the skid row of Las Vegas. You might ask why they don't clean up skid row of other towns. It is a difficult question with no easy answers.Just for now stay away and only go south on las vegas blvd from the strat and you will be o.k.

The best people to ask for this information are the texi cab drivers and the shuttle bus drivers. They will give you the real information.

one with a hard edge but I live here and love this town and Clark County. so there is one bad place. We all have this in all towns. The greater interest is the city and it all the support of the other nieghborhoods.
Do not be negative about my town.
