have you changed your diet or been really sick? changed ur sleep schedule drasticly or any other type of stress? there is a lot that can go on w/ in the body that messes with the cycle. have you been to the gyno for regular yearly checks? if you dont engage in sexual activities but its been a long time since ur last period, i would go to the doctors cause it could be a sign of something very serious like cysts on the overies. but dont freak out too much, i would just see what the doctor says. it could be something very minor like a yeast infection.

im 16 too and my period is really irregular

I usually get mine every 6-7 weeks

some may say that its due to diet change
if you have decreased your calorie intake by a great %

others may say it could be from being really athletic
if you run every day or something along those lines

or if you have low body fat

it could be a number of reasons don't worry too much about it though I think it's pretty normal to be abnormal... if that makes sense

haha [:

that doesnt sound too normal. I've heard of skipping a month because your cycle is changing, but not 2 or 3.
you should go see a gynecologist. Ask or mom or a adult to help you find one, and tell them whats happening.

it is not unusual for teenage girls to have irregular periods regardless of when they started having them. Stress can alter them, change in activity levels can alter them, change in sleep cycles can alter them. Don't worry about it.
