I feel like an idiot, but I have no clue how to past a web site URL in an email so that a friend can go directly to the exact page I need them to see, not just the website.

For example, if I wanted to go to www.petco.com but wanted them to be able to link to the long URL that appears in the address bar on pet carriers, how do I do that? If you are lauging and wondering how I have survived this long, well, I've never had a need to do it and normally, I'd just say go to www.petco.com and do a search on their site for pet carriers.

I'd like to knopw how to do it the correct way. Please explain as if I am ignorant, as I truly am w/ some computer things. I really only use it to do fantastic things w/ photos and eBay. LOL THANKS

You have to highlight the entire URL then either right click your mouse and choose "copy", or press Ctrl+C
That will copy it to the clipboard.

You can then compose an email and either press Ctrl+V
or right click your mouse and click "paste"
