Very accurate. The disease and treatment recommendations (besides for Dr. House of coarse) are standard that would be treated in every hospital.

All medical shows such as ER have a doctor or medical adviser involved in the writing and directing process. This is because writers are obsessed with getting it right and because there are millions in the medical profession watching that they have to please.

If you'd like to see any of the diseases involved in the episotes you can visit House official sites and get a list of the last 24.

Example of 2 episodes:

324 - Human Error

Hypothermia
Multiple Sclerosis
Bone cancer
Blood clots
Congenital heart defects

323 - The Jerk

Cluster headaches
Psilocybin
Amyloidosis
Hemochromatosis

Hope this helps!

Actually, pretty accurate. I was watching this video about it and this doctor went through the episodes to see just how accurate the show was. He said that all the illnesses and everything else where pretty close to home, and not that far off. Most of the cases are similar to real life ones, just without the drama. ;)

it incredibly is approximately as close as a cow is to a scow. the indications would certainly have some relationship to the illness, yet by no ability on the dimensions or interior the timeline of the tutor. additionally, what the medical doctors do, crossing specialties, is thoroughly unrealistic.

I'm not too sure...but I don't think they'd make up a bunch of bull and make you believe it...I think they have to find some serious never heard of stuff to make the show interesting.

I don't know, I'm not a good answerer, but it seems like it, they get really detailed into it. I bet they are or they would have a ton of doctors writing in.
