Murali can defenitely break the record of Wasim Akram for most wickets in ODI if he continues to play another 2 or 3 years.

Yes he would. And what a shame when that happens! Bishen Singh Bedi had rightly said that Murali reminds him of a 'Javelin thrower'. Even if he has a physical deformity in his arm, it gives him a natural disadvantage. The ICC, like a neutered goat, didn't have the guts to take action, so they legalised his bowling action.

What a shame that a chucker like Murali would break the record of the great Wasim Akram! When that eventually does happen, I would wear a black arm-band as a sign of protest. Anybody willing to join me?

Muralitharan will break all records, simply because Sri Lankla plays 10 times more cricket against sub-standard side such as bangladesh etc than any other country its not right.Shane Warne maybe a tool but he got a large %of his wickets against class sides,so even if murali breaks all records most people will still recognise Warne as alot better Bowler than Murali, except in Sri Lanka of course

He can destroy Akram's ODI checklist of 502 wickets. yet he won't destroy the 1000 wickets barrier in attempt cricket. he remains 244 wickets far flung from it. And with Ajantha Mendis bowling from the different end, he will might desire to share the spoils; and it relies upon upon how long he can proceed playing. however the superb wager is, he will finally end up with 900 peculiar wickets.

Yes,ofcourse he can do this because already he broke the record of Shane Warne & become the first cricketor to get 700 wickets in test matches. So this greatness shows that he can break any target

He will ofcourse but it will be very dissappointing coz his action is like a Javelin thrower but ICC legalized his action so he would make to the record books and break the record
