If so, what do you think this means?
Years ago my grandma told me that ballerinas had to have a longer middle toe, but I always wondered if she was just telling me this because I was self conscious of my longer middle toe and I wanted to be a ballerina.

LOL, great answers!
No, I never became a ballerina [OMG that'd be hilarious].
I do take note of people's toes though [do I have a fetish?], especially in summer with people wearing sandles, because I was worried I was a freak or something. It seems to me MOST people have a longer middle toe!! Or is this just me being selective in my observations??? haha

My middle toe is and so is the one right next to my big toe. My aunt always told me that the toe right next to my big to was a "soccer" toe. Cause when I was little I always wanted to be a professional soccer player. haha that is weird. Yeah, I am guessing we were lied to :[

no. mine are all nicely and neatly shaped how they should be. my husband has some fugly feet, though, and his middle toe sticks out a little more. I've never heard of the ballerina thing. i would think that there isn't as much support in the middle toe, rather than the big toe (for balance). i would think, that if you were a dancer, you'd want that toe out of the way. i think she just wanted you to feel good. don't worry.

Mine are about the same, the middle one is not taller, I think they look nicer that way, when the middle toe should be shorter!! It would look wierd if it was taller.
My mom says that when the middle toe is bigger, the person tends to be the dominant one in relationships.

My middle toe comes pretty darned close on my right foot, but the big toe on my left food is noticeably bigger than the middle toe.

Hmm... it's longer than the big toe on my right foot, but about the same or even a tiny bit shorter on the left. and I haven't had any surgery there.

LOL!!! Mine are too! It's so funny to me, because I've never met anyone else with it. My husband calls them "freak toes", and he always make fun of them, saying they are as long as his thumbs. (they really are) I don't know what it means, but I'm just happy to hear I'm not the only one.

That's a negative for me. But now that I think about it, why are my tennis shoes longer in the middle than the sides? Hmmm...
