I am in a relationship with a 12 year age gap, i'm 24 and he's 36. We've been together for 3 and a half years now and things couldn't be better. What makes it even more special is that it's a long distance relationship and we love each other more and more every day. It sure worked out for me. We share many of the same likes and dislikes, which is great. I think it depends on the people, if it's meant to be it will be. If you feel comfortable in the relationship age doesn't really matter. It never mattered to me.

There is an eleven year age gap between my husband and I. We have been together almost 6 years, married 2 1/2. We are happy as could be! I don't see a problem with age gaps, so long as both parties are mature adults. As an example, a 30 year old and a 42 year old could get along just fine. On the other hand, a 15 year old with a 27 year old is a BIG problem.

It's fine with the male being older. My brother's wife is 12 years younger than him! They seem to be happy. Women are always more mature anyway. So, it's really like an 7 or
8-year difference.

No.
My parents have a 12-year age gap and have been married for more than 15 years (I think).
My mother is 43 and my father is 55.
They get along fine (except when they're watching Deal or No Deal).

No, why would it be, if both parties involved get along and have mutual interests? An age gap (especially one that narrow) usually becomes a problem only if the couple lets it.

I'm 42 my husband 67. And we are truely in love! We've been together for 3 1/2 years.....so my point is....I dont think it would have went as well if we had met, say, 20 years ago. Now that I'm older though, all is great. Because I am mature enough for it to be!

My first marriage lasted 11 years, my husband being 11 years older than me. Thats 1 married year per year age gap.
I'd think about it if I was you.

It would depend on what age range I think. But not entirely no. My mother and stepfather have a 13 year gap and it's going pretty well.

I've had a 13 year age gap.
And it didn't last. But that's probably because i'm too young.
I think... age is just a number. Think of it as any other relationship. It will either work. Or it won't
