Well, I think we are all faced with what could be disappointment every day. As for me, the biggest challenge right now has become trying to get a good job. I have a little bit of a criminal record from when I was 18. I tried to get it expunged and the judge wouldn't do it because of some technicality. Anyways, so I have had 3 really great job offers and then when they found out about my record have retracted the offer. Big disappointment and a lot of self reflecting later, I have come to the decision that those jobs just weren't right for me anyways. So, now I'm on the hunt for my new career and am hoping very soon working at a better place than those.

I think every situation could result in dissapointment. And I agree that it is a blessing in disguse because everything happens for a reason. I always try to look at the upside to everything, even if I know that it will be bad because something better might be about to happen.

I'm afraid I may be. Oh I'm so confused! Everything was just great and now - nothing! Well almost nothing. When there is something its good, its just not as often as before, so do I take it like a disappointment or, oh I just don't know!!!

Quite possible...I do wish, fervently, that our disappointments were blessings in disguise!

I live by the philosophy of Alexander Pope when he said: "Blessed are those who expect nothing for they shall never be disappointed."
