I won $1200 once on the PA lottery, many years back. Had the first five numbers of the six drawn - if I'd had all six, would have been millions. I was glad I wasn't watching the draw, would probably have had a heart attack when waiting for the sixth number to be drawn.
The $1200 was a lot of money to me then, so I was VERY happy to have won it.

. I LOVE to gamble, but I HATE to lose, so... I don't. I lived in Vegas for a few yrs and saw a lot of sad people go thru there. The odds are ALWAYS against you in the casinos. The lottery is the same. You 'gamble' $10, hoping to win $1 million when you know the odds are 2 million against you.
As for finding $20 on the sidewalk, if Bill Gates saw a double-sawbuck on the ground, he's lose $30 by taking the time, 10 seconds, to bend over to pick it up. .

$233 on the New Jersey Pick 3 lotto game. The very next day I played 2-3-3 straight and box and won that box.
