I just did, and boy was that alarming. As a pregnant woman, it is terribly frighting to bring an innocent child into today's world...so sad

Yes, I definitely have...and I check out the area around the school districts I work in. I live in the city and my schools (that I work at) are in rural areas....and the number of sex offenders went up dramatically in those areas...it was quite alarming. I would think it was the opposite.
We have a few living near us, but not within 4-5 miles. Sometimes people think I'm looney for keeping extremely close tabs on Jack but, it makes me feel 100% safe and 100% better!

I understand how you feel, because I feel the same way. About two days ago I decided to go online and see if there were any sex offenders around my area. To my surprise, I found out that a sex offender lives right down my street. I'm not a parent, but I have a nephew and it really worries me. Not just that but the guy looks like someone normal whom I would have never thought was such a sicko. =[

Yes I have. Luckily, I don't have any around. Of course, I live in a rural area. It is very scary how many people are sexual offenders.

Yes, I have, and it's frightening. I live about 6 blocks from a middle school, and there are quite a few in my neighborhood, and between me and the school!!!!!!!

Yes. Something everyone should do... Especially when purchasing a home or moving to a new place... I was alarmed when I did... Freaky isn't it....

i haver tried looking for it but i cant find it. but on the plus side they just changed it so the sex offenders cant come within 2000 feet of where kids hang out. like schools parks church so theres not many places in my city they can be

I have. There's quite a few near me. I don't use it to worry myself to death though. It lets me know which weirdo walking up the street is someone to avoid. My neighbors don't give a crap about their kids so the neighbors that do keep watch for them.

when i was pregs i started doin that too...it's pretty scary because they onlyregister level 2 an 3 thats a whole level of offenders not mentioned....

Absolutely! Yet another thing done out of boredom at work! I was amazed at how many there were, and how many of them were not compliant with the conditions of their release! It makes me glad we own 8 pitbulls, walk on our property if you want you sick *****!
