Can they? Yeah. Will they? Maybe. They're a real young team that, with very few exceptions, hasn't been through the heat of a pennant race in August and September. August/September pressure is a lot different than April/May pressure. Their biggest advantage is that the team chasing them is the Cubs, a team noted for late season fades. But, as mentioned previously, they're real young and the pitching staff is pretty inexperienced, too. Getting Sheets back real soon could make a huge difference, too.

I live 45 minutes north of Milwaukee and have been a Brewer fan all my life even when they sucked. I believe they could win the NL Central if the Cubs start losing more games, but I don't see that happening.

I don't think the Cubs will be able to stay as hot as they are right now. The Brewers should keep the lead going until late September.
But they won't make any progress in the playoffs. The Mets or Dodgers or Padres or Braves should be able to take them out in the NLDS.

Yes they can. No telling about the playoffs, though. A lot of the teams vying there are pretty good. But it would not surprise me if the World Series were Brewers vs. Indians.

no i dont. i think it is the cubs division to lose. if they continue falling in the standings, they might not even make the playoffs. the NL west has some good teams like the dodgers and padres and the east has the braves and phillies so i dont know if the brewers can even get a wildcard spot.

i think of the Brewers have a competent shot at triumphing the NL crucial, yet i think of that the Mets will symbolize the NL interior the worldwide series. So, absolute to the branch, yet no the the worldwide series.

well, they're slipping. They really have no starting pitching besides the unproven gallardo with sheets on the dl. But it looks very good for the future, fielder, braun, gallardo.
but this year i think they miss it. the cubs are just better

Brewers will definitely hang on. They could be undefeated right now, but they are just losing on purpose. They didn't wanna get bored so they decided to make it a race :D.

Unfortunately, no, I don't see them turning it around this year. However, I think they will use this year's pennant race as a stepping stone next year.
