We can't get a loan because of bad credit, parents unemployed, and we are willing to work and do whatever it takes to get this money. This is an extreme emergency and could make or break the lives of an entire family.Any suggestions?

Sell things. if it is that bad, you can go with out TVs, VCR/DVD player's, microwaves, game system's. Anything that adds to the quality of life can be sold.

Collections of certain things. Glassware that is not needed for daily eating and drinking. DVDs and Videos. Big kid toys, like ski jets, ATVs, ski's, boat's.

You probably get my drift by now.

I hope it works out for you.

If you or someone in your family owns a home, they probably could get a home equity line of credit, which is sometimes called a 'second mortgage'. You are basically borrowing money against the equity you have in your home, and the rates are generally lower than other types of loans. Good luck, and stay positive!
