Okay, well I have a wedding to go to on August 11. And I need a dress. I am 11 years old and I have no good dresses. Should I buy a new dress that's cheap and trendy (between $20-$35) or borrow a dress from my neighbor who is 14? If I do buy a dress I need to either buy it in Great Mall (Milpitas, CA) or Valley Fair (Santa Clara, CA). If you could help me look online that would be great!

Love,

Klarissa

Well you are only 11 so I think that a 14 year olds dress is not got a 11 year old... I would go shopping. Now, i think a good place for your price range would be a store called the Wet seal. You may not have it where you are, but there are some sort of dressy dresses.
www.wetseal.com. You may just want to order it.
Idk if its suitable for an 11 year old, but just check it out.
Hope I helped!

I would say borrow a dress, unless you are sure you will get a lot of use out of a dress if you buy it. Otherwise, since you are so young and will grow a lot, it is kind of a waste to buy a dress you won't wear much, and won't be able to fit in a few years.
If you do decide to buy a dress, check out Rue21..they are inexpensive, trendy, and cute. Rue21.com. Or if you want to be different, check out some vintage stores, or try the Goodwill:)

If you're just going to, and not going to be in the wedding, then any decent dress will do. Something you wear to Church would be great. If you don't have anything like it, then borrow it. You're not the one who should be standing out - the bride is - so don't be getting too fancy. A nice Sunday dress would be perfect.

Oh, and a bit of wedding etiquette? No white, black or red.

Well I'm a guy so I don't know if my vote really counts, but I would save my $$ and just borrow the one from my 14 year old friend =) Have fun at the wedding!

you're 11. how many times would you wear the new dress? if you'd wear it a lot, then ask mommy to buy you a new one. if this is a one-shot deal, borrow something that is appropriate for an 11 yr old, not a 14 yr old.

You could check out their dresses.

If you join them on myspace you get 10% off.

Its better to buy the dress than borrow. It could be awkward or embarrassing one day.

OMG! THOSE ARE THE MALLS I SHOP AT!!!
yay!

If your neighbor's clothes fit, and there is something cute, go with her clothes. If not, GO SHOPPING!!!
