I know prayers work, when I requested votes for McCall Adams to win the MTVu contest, they deleted and sent violation note s to me, weirdos reported some of them SHE WON. I will go vote for your friend

Yes prayers do work . God always answers our prayers. Sometimes we tend to think that he doesn't but what we fail to realize is that some times God has to tell us no, That doesn't mean he didn't answer a prayer.

It really depends on what you are praying for. God isn't going to give you a new car, or boyfriend or winning lottery numbers. God will give you strength, courage, and a hand to hold. Ask for them.

Again and again, you infest Y! Answers with more Bible thumping type questions. If you believe it works, stick with it, but why would you ask anyone here? Nothing we say is going to be any more factual to you than what you already know. We would hope prayers work, it's an obvious answer. Sometimes they get answered, sometimes they do not. It could be religion, fate, or outright luck. Who really knows.
