Being different from the majority of people, with such a obvious handicap would be a disadvantage in its self.

Everything in society is designed for average sized people, so people who are much smaller than the average have problems using a lot of things. Imagine being 4'0 or even smaller and going shopping. You wouldn't reach the stuff in the upper shelves in the stores, so I would guess that a simple thing like shopping for necessities is quite difficult for really small people. I suppose there's plenty of other disadvantages. I'm sure many of them need a specially designed car if they want to drive, certain jobs will be hard or even impossible for them and so on. But then again there must be some advantages too, like it's easier for them to reach certain places than for taller people.

The worst thing about being a dwarf is the natural racism elves have towards you. Can't we all just get along?

Well, I'm just 5'0 and I find it hard to reach up to stuff a lot of times without standing on toes, and stretching arms, etc so I can't imagine being any shorter and trying to reach something that is at a "normal" level.

"Doesn't life suck to be a dwarf? "
It only sucks if you let it.
And the disadvantages are pretty obvious.
