This is an interesting question. Do you mean the skin at the bottom of your lobe that connects to your jaw line? If so, then maybe you scratched it or irritated it somehow and it only shows up when you eat, because the action of chewing stress that area of skin. However, if you mean the ear canal you really should see an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor). Good luck with finding out why.
