LMAO!
Does he come out looking all red faced!
Do not give him a hand - just leave some of your "special" magazines in there (at least he should be done before 45 mins and then he may even have a shower)

I would speak to him about this as best you could without embarrassing him. Perhaps tell him a story so it takes the focus off of him and it's interesting enough that he listens to it and heeds the underlying point. This is important to his health as well as his relationship years down the road with a wife to be. (Woman love a good smelling' man!)
Example; If he wanted to be a pilot...(true story by the way) as a pilot in the military you are trained to shower before you fly out. Reason, if you were to crash you are less likely to develop a staff infection. Hope this helps.

Well, the good news is that in about 3 years you'll never get him out of the shower...
Buy him some body wash for men - so he'll smell manly.

He should know how to wash by 13, for sure.
BUT, a lot of people around that age, specially guys, don't like to shower.
A trick my uncle used to do when he was younger was wet himself (no shampoo, soap, etc.) and then come out and pretends he took a shower.
Although 45 minutes is a long time to pretend, he probably masterbates, you never know.

I have a 23 year old son who has the same problem. I think its just a male thing. It wouldn't hurt if you let your son know that his washing isn't taking care of the odor. Maybe you can try changing the type of soap he uses.

okay, no you should go in to give him a hand. Just give him something that helps scrub, some deodarant soap and some actual deodarant. Really, you should have taught how to wash himself when he was like 2 or 3.
If you give him a hand now, it would kinda be creepy.

Um, new soap might be a better idea, before you go in there while he's showering and end up paying for years of therapy.
