There isnt just one thing important b\c all aspects of being in a relationship are important.
Here are somethings I think are important within a relationship though otherwise its useless.
- Respect
- Love
- Friendship
- Accepting each other for the way you two are, imperfections and all.
- Honesty
- Communication
- Being Faithful (Although if your truly in love you dont really doubt your relationship)
- Trust
What do you think?

Communications. You have to be able to talk, but even more important, you have to be able to listen. Never keep things bottled up, that causes explosions. Having internal conversations, you know where you fill in the lines for your spouse/s.o., will always come up with the wrong answer. Talk, talk, talk, listen, listen, listen. And ladies, give us a break, we are different creatures, sometimes it isn't easy for us to put our feelings into words. Don't ask us what we're thinking when we're quiet, most the time it's "Nothing" for real!

trust.
Not necessarily honesty, but trust. I don't want him to tell me if my butt looks fat.
