If you are serious about wanting your stories published the link above can help. Since you have more than one short story they could be published into one book. Many authors have done this such as: Stephen King & Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Dickens. Short stories do not have to be published separately from each other. You can have your own book of 'shorts'. Just present your manuscript in that manner. There are also plenty of writing contests going on which are a great way to get your work out with the chance to win a publishing contract. The following link will take you to a short story contest. http://www.writersdigest.com/contests/shortshort/index.asp?goto=closead
Best Wishes!

It's honestly a lot easier to get a whole manuscript published than a short story. There aren't that many markets for one story. But here is a good idea for you. There are dozens and dozens of anthologies being published these days. They usually revolve around a specific genre. Like all vampire stories or all zombie stories. They usually read a lot of material and choose a certain number of stories for their anthology. Each one has different guidelines regarding the length of the story etc. The thing is - they do not pay much. Usually you make 5 - 25 bucks plus a few copies of the book. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it;s a foot in the door. Some very successful authors have gotten started that way. It gets their name and work known - then they go on to publish novels. But - without knowing your genre, I don't know what anthologies to recommend to you. Why don't you e mail me at deni913@hotmail.com and tell me just the genre and I will give you some leads. You too LAgurl. Pax - C

Wow!!! What youthful skills! when I study issues like this it supplies me such wish for a manner forward for literature :) a pair of issues: a million. while Helena yelled at Nyla she pronounced " How dare you disobey my orders!?" 2 punctuation marks at the instant are not frequently professional looking, so p.c.. one or the different. you comprehend i admire exclamation factors, lol, so its an issue for me too. 2. The call nyla makes me think of of ny and l. a.. (ny and l. a.). this would possibly not be an issue for everybody, yet only telling you my opinion 3. extreme description isn't needed in each and every sentence. that's sturdy you're giving us a vibrant image, yet simplicity is golden. The e book looks great. Is Nyla a canine? that feels like a exciting twist!

Aside from fixing your spelling, you can look into literary magazines, local newspapers, or even school newspapers. Check with your local library, they will have all the info you need.
Also check the submissions guidelines for each publisher before submitting, very important you do so or else you'll be automatically rejected.
Good Luck!

Well, if you are in school, you could talk to your English teacher and ask her is she can get them sent into the Anthology of Short Stories.
