Well it all depends. I would say that they are as respectful as they would be of a Moroccan wife. I could lie and say all Moroccan men are super-great & none of them would lift a hand to their wife but that is just ridiculous. Look at how many women are victims of domestic abuse in your own country. Now having said that I don't think Moroccan men are inherently evil or anything and I think a lot of western women would have more problems being married (not that it should stop anyone-they should just be prepared) to one than an eastern woman would but that is just because of culture (and in the case of some ppl religion).
I've met many Moroccan men that will say that marriage is a partnership but to them that means he works and goes out when he wants and the woman cooks, cleans and has sex with him. LOL They aren't looking for a friend.
So, it all depends on what his true definition of marriage is and what his values are.

Its not wether their moroccan or american its about their personality. In Every country in the world there is good and bad. U should take a moroccan by their personality. But there is some bad moroccans and some good. Moroccan are great husbands but its always 5o/5o. Remember no matter if u are moroccan men or american men they are all men.

Absolutely. To be able to marry a western woman means that a Moroccan man first knows what it ''takes'' to be a husband to a western woman.
No qualms, they can still be stern and more forceful (with their voice and their desires, not with their hand) then is usually accepted in the western world but then again western men have all turned into softies anyway... a Moroccan man is a man's man.

It really has nothing to do with nationality and everything to do with personality. My Moroccan husband treats me like a queen. I am love, honored and respected, my opinion matters and he will do anything possible to make me happy.

Of course they are, I know my DH treats me very very well. I also know all of his friends are wonderful men as well. I think it is just like any group of people. You will find some of them will be respectful, and others won't.
