Yea I'm not a fan of naming your son Jesus. So i have no idea why people do it. Maybe some arent religious and just like the name?

It's a cultural thing. In Latin American cultures, naming someone after someone else is showing respect to the person you are naming them after. In, say, white culture, it is different, which is why there aren't really many (any) white people named Jesus. In LA cultures, though, it's respectful, and a hope that the person will grow up to exhibit the same characteristics of the person they have been named after.

In Spanish and Hispanic culture, that is the norm. Of course it's pronounced HEY-ZEUS.

Yeah, I never bought into naming children after the Son of God, either.

"Jesus's" name was actually Yeshua- which, technically, is translated to Joshua. Remember, he was Jewish and abviously, his name was Hebrew. "Jesus" wasn't perfect- he was human, and like all humans, had flaws.

We are all God. God is within us. If you believe that God is the source from witch all you see appears. Know that we are from that source witch is God. There was a man who was being interviewed for a newspaper, he was Indian. The reporter said to the man. " So you think that your God?" and the man replied, "I am God and you are to. the only difference is I know it"
