There is NO way Hensley is going to be the guy who gives up the tying homer & then the record breaker. No Way.

It's not chicken, it's smart. If he wants to be the future closer of the Padres, he needs to show the manager that he knows when to get someone out and when to let someone go. I'd rather walk a guy like Bonds instead of giving up a HR.

Last time I checked, it was the pitcher's job to get the batter out, NOT to give him something to hit!! Being "chicken" is hardly what Hensley or other pitchers are. They are just doing their job and trying to get that bum out.

well he did challenge him, and suffered the consequences. he doesnt want to be the guy that gives up the record breaker either.
