I think he`s one of those really rich guys who have no idea what the average person likes, does, or wants. Nor does he care as long as they buy tickets.

I agree. He could at least stand & applaud after Bonds tied the record. What a shame. Then to turn down the opportunity to go on national television live & at least give Bonds credit where credit is due.
I wonder if it was a white guy, would he have stood up & clapped? Not sure if Bonds skin color plays a role, but I am sure it raises a few eyebrows when the commissioner is at all of these games & doesn't applaud when he ties one of the most recognizable records of all time.
Selig truly is an idiot.

Bud Selig is a joke of a commisioner for baseball. He should have applauded and at smiled at least. Barry is the greatest home run player in history and bud just stands and put his hands in is pockets what a loser. Go Barry

That's what you get when you have a guy who owns the Brewers, in a city that once had the Milwaukee Braves (now Atlanta Braves), and who is good friends with the current home run king who was a Brave.
You get a commissioner who is biased! And yes, he is an idiot and probably doesn't even realize it.

Selig already was a joke to begin with. he's nothing more than a kiss azz to the owners who forced fay Vincent to leave as Commissioner in the 90's. he's nothing but a puppet.

I appreciate all that Bud has done for baseball. Don't hate him just for watching Bonds, that undermines all that he has done.
