Follow your heart, don't be too quick, to be......Take your time and eventually you will see if it was to be or not to be. If it is meant then it will be.

In the play it was a contemplation on suicide. However it can have a greater meaning as a metaphor in life.

So we can use it as shall I work on a progression and improvement taking chances, going where I have never gone, doing what I have never done, and risk failure? Or shall I give up trying and even though I am not happy, at lest this life I know is stable, there is no chance of failing at it, even though it feels like being a failure.

Do you see the to be or not to be in there?

So even though this was a contemplation on suicide in the play it has much deeper meaning in life. Not to be is to let fear stop us, to give up. But to be is to risk the arrows of misfortune to get to our goals.
