yes, there are lots. off the top of my head, a few who have that as some of their main themes would be:

William Blake
John Ashbery
Walt Whitman
Allen Ginsberg

There are plenty more, I just can't think of them right now. I think that generally most good poetry has the sort of attitude you're talking about in one way or another. Also you should definitely check out artists like Elliott Smith, Built to Spill, and Black Flag.

Try this:

You Don’t Even Know Me

You say you think you know me,
But I’ve got news for you,
My soul is not a shallow sea,
You haven’t got a clue,

You think my actions vile and base,
My passions over wrought,
But simple lies cannot erase,
The fact you know me not,

Hey, you don’t even know me,
Oh I know you think you do,
But I’m not the simple face you see,
The person who’s in view,

For you just see mere skin and bone,
My mind and soul are hidden,
I keep my secrets all alone,
Not seeking help unbidden,

But you would think me shallow,
Devoid of all emotion,
Your words from tongue like tallow,
Hang to your self promotion,

So you just sit and talk away,
Of how you knew me when,
And think your words might have some sway,
With others, now and then,

Oh go ahead and knock away,
My door won’t be provoked,
For foolish minds won’t have their say,
Your pass has been revoked,

And if you really knew me,
I wonder what you’d think,
For who I am will never be,
A glass for you to drink,

But you don’t even know me,
And as you ramble on,
You cannot help but show me,
I won’t miss you when you’re gone.

I eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life.
It does taste rather funny,
But it keeps them on the knife.

Don't worry, Be Happy.

I don' know !
But why would you think that ? I believe that by worrying about others it help us not to be selfish.
