I bought it Tuesday and I just got through watching it, I thought it was a really good movie, especially when it comes to courage and bravery. The special effects were awesome, I gave it a 8 1/2.

It has to be 9.5/10. This is one of the best action movies in recent time. Not only is it entertaining, it has no down time. It has action, comedic and dramatic moments. Excellent movie all around.

I'm with you, a 7 or 8. I really liked it.
The battle the Athenians had with the Persians at Marathon was even better and if had not been for the Athenian defeat at Syracuse the Roman Empire might never have been.
The movie 300 gives that historical reality a modern perspective.

I would give it a 6 I think. The special effects were cool and the look was interesting, but I just thought it was really ridiculous in places. Why all the slow motion?

Id give it a solid 10.
I was blown away by the special effects, but that's not the point of the movie. The message it sends exceeds all the special effects themselves. Plus the acting was spot on.
I read the graphic novel and they literally put each page on screen..it was amazing.
300 is one of my favs.
